Dačice: Students "train" the elderly in smartphone work 
You'd hardly find better smartphone experts than young people. Their speed, promptness and dexterity when working with smartphones is unmatched. And so it couldn't have been anyone other than students who took on the role of lecturers in the education of the elderly.
Thanks to the joint efforts of Healthy City, Dačice Gymnasium and the local library, a unique educational course was created that connects generations.

| Describe the main strengths of your activity / project during its realization? | Personal contact of the elderly with students, warm meeting atmosphere, comprehensiveness of the course (benefit for students, seniors and all involved organizations), establishment of deeper cooperation between individual organizations. |
| Describe the main weaknesses of your activity / project during its realization? | Since we implemented the course for the first time, we selected students for it who do not need to develop their communication skills, empathy, etc. In some places, the technology let us down, e.g. a long wait for the application to be downloaded, if all course participants downloaded at the same time. |
| During the implementation of the activities / project, did you encounter an event that fundamentally affected the implementation? | Everything went according to plan, the only complication was the low WIFI speed, see the weaknesses of the activity |

| Do you plan to further develop/maintain the activity/project? | We want to repeat the course in the same format with new students and seniors. It will take place from January 9 to February 6, 2024 in the Matěje Mikšíček Library in Dačice. However, the content of the course is largely based on the specific needs of its participants, so we expect that we must be flexible and adjust it according to the current situation. |
